These photos of some female guests at a wedding in Lagos last Sunday, have been buzzing on social media because of the style of their dresses. While some internet users opined that the dresses are fashionable, others have been calling them out saying the dresses are inappropriate as they are too revealing...
Are you the bride? Or in the wedding party? If so, then yes. If not, then this is probably going to upstage the bride, which is not cool....
ReplyDeleteI can't say that I would wear something like that to somebody else's wedding or would want them to wear that at mine. I'm thinking maybe they should just wear it somewhere else or make sure it at least fits within what you would think the bride and groom would expect you wear or not wear on their big day.

ReplyDeleteI really don't mean to judege anyone, but weren't those dresses a little too much? Were they trying to steal the spotlight from the bride, or something else? I totally agree that those dresses are too revealing and inappropriate.
ReplyDeleteIf you are the bride, then go ahead and wear your best gown. But if you are a guest, never steal the spotlight from the bride.
ReplyDeleteThe dresses are stylish and beautiful but it is not appropriate for a wedding event. Our world is modern but a wedding is a sacred ceremony and attendees should dress properly. Gee Villaruz
